Some people can passionately express hatred while missing the most obvious reasons for it. Today, a guy whose girlfriend I slept with went on a rant, using the word "hate" over a hundred times and listing dozens of different reasons for his feelings. The irony? He never mentioned the elephant in the room—my fling with his girlfriend. It made me think of my grandpa's wise words about thinking before acting; maybe this guy should take that advice.
